Thursday Crush: Spring in the City

Spring is such a gorgeous season in Boston! Once we get through a few muddy weeks, the blooms start to appear, and I am always amazed at just how many flowering trees there are in these urban neighborhoods. Trees dripping heavy with flowers is such a balm for the eyes, and I just can’t get enough of the sight!

This is also the season of my of baby-sleep-obsession. At least for me, baby sleep (and therefore my sleep!) has become the mysterious, sought after dream — how I would love just a few more hours! I actually won a phone consult last month with Erin of Baby Sleep Science, and she was so helpful. One of her tips was to work on getting longer daytime naps, and since Serena naps so well outdoors in the stroller, I’ve been doing laps around Beacon Hill, the Esplanade and the Public Gardens these last few weeks. Even if I’m tired, I have these blooms to refresh me!
