Berklee Summer in the City
It’s summer! Along with the season comes one of our favorite event series around town: Berklee Summer in the City. Students, alumni, and faculty present over 200 free outdoor concerts in neighborhoods all around Boston. Locations include the Rose Kennedy Greenway, Georges Island, Atlantic Wharf, Harvard Square’s Club Passim, and the Charlestown Navy Yard, and include neighborhoods ranging from Jamaica Plain and Roxbury to East Boston and the South End.
The Institute of Contemporary Art is one of my favorite places to see a concert (pictured above) — the sunset over the water and amazing music equals a pretty perfect summer evening. Niu Raza (top), Noé (below), and Lula Wiles (bottom) are among the acts that will be playing at this gorgeous spot over the next few weeks. Another thing to love about summer in Boston!
