Local Craft Spirits Festival
We love to drink local! In the last few years, the local booze scene has really grown. I’ve seen a lot of that growth firsthand (my husband, Matt is a co-founder at Short Path Distillery) and it’s really awesome to see how these local businesses are supporting each other.
On October 15, you can try a variety of New England-made spirits, beer, wine, and cider at the Local Crafts Spirits Festival in Cambridge. There are so many breweries and distilleries that I want to try (Jack’s Abby is top of the list) but it can be hard to make time to visit them all. It’s awesome to have events like this that support what’s happening locally and provide consumers a chance to try some seriously good libations.
The event highlights include cocktail demonstrations, drink and food pairings, and a cocktail throwdown competition. Sounds so fun! For tickets and more information, including a list of participants, go here.
