The Weekender: October 20-22

We are in the midst of fall and it’s a beautiful thing! Wherever you find yourself this weekend, enjoy it.

Da Vinci. I love the Museum of Science. I don’t spend enough time there, but great exhibits like the recently opened Da Vinci, The Genius remind me to stop in. The exhibition brings to life the the genius of Leonardo Da Vinci, from inventor and scientist to sculptor and philosopher.

10 1/2 Beacon Street. We love visiting the Boston Athenaeum for the rare books but also the beautiful building. If you’ve never been inside, you can check it out this weekend at the library’s open house. More information available here.

Family Day. Visitors of all ages are invited to Mass Art’s Family Day this Saturday. Celebrate with interactive activities and art-making, led by Mass Art students.

Head of the Charles. I love spending time along the Esplanade, especially this time of year. This weekend is the Head of the Charles Regatta. Head to the river to take in the races and more!

Do you have an upcoming event that you’d like to see listed on The Weekender? To be considered, send us a note at info@thebostondaybook.com. Have a wonderful weekend!
