First Friday. 70+ artists will open their studios in the SoWa Arts District tonight for a first Friday celebration. Free and open to the public.

This Friday from 3-7pm and Saturday from 12-5pm, stop in to browse the handcrafted goods including watches, bicycles, and men’s and women’s apparel. Guests will enjoy snacks from Luke’s Lobster and ice cream floats (yum!).

A Book Sale! The French Cultural Center is hosting a book sale this Saturday from 9:30am to 4pm. Peruse hundreds of new and used French books, with prices starting at $1.

Overnight at the MFA. The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston will host a free all-night party tonight as part of the #mfaNOW series, celebrating contemporary art and artists. The State of the Party overnight highlights politics in Boston and beyond. There will be a lively discussion, musical performances, food trucks, art making, interactive installations, and much more.
