Where to Work Out for Free this Summer

As the summer heat starts to roll in (it’s coming, friends! It’s supposed to hit 90 degrees on Sunday.), I feel more and more motivated to exercise. I’ve loved taking spin classes at SoulCycle and doing yoga at Exhale, Radiant Yoga, and South Boston Yoga this past year, but I’m excited to switch it up a bit and get moving outside.

There are lots of fitness studios and inspiring instructors in Boston — and lucky for us, many of them offer free classes during the summer months. It’s so easy to be outside, enjoy our beautiful city and get in a good work out!

Here are a few free classes we have our eye on… and we’d love to know, how are you exercising these days?

– Bootcamp and Pilates on the Rose Kennedy Greenway! Perhaps followed by yummy pizza at Pastoral? Hey, you worked for it.

Zumba on the Esplanade (such a great excuse to hang by the Charles)

Kick It by Eliza in the Seaport

And if you can’t make it out, take a few minutes to work out at home with videos from local fitness guru SarahFit.
