Go Pats! Get to Gillette with Skedaddle
Have you been to a Pats game? Surprisingly, I have never been to one! At my old job, we would host an annual conference at Gillette Stadium, and it was one of my favorite work events. The stadium is so big and you can just imagine the energy and excitement when there is a game.
I participated in a Fantasy Football league a few years ago, and although I had no idea what I was doing, it was fun. Even though I’m not an avid football fan, I do enjoy watching or attending games, especially when I’m with friends who have a lot of enthusiasm for the sport. Side note: did you know that our uncle played professional football for 15 years?
The one drawback to going to a home game (or a concert at Gillette for that matter) is that it is kind of a hike from Boston, especially if you want to enjoy some pre-game tailgating. We were excited to learn about Skedaddle, a ride-sharing platform that connects game-goers with professionally driven buses. The rides are limited to 54 passengers and provide direct transportation to and from the stadium… for $10 round trip per person! Rides to Gillette are usually $35-40, so that’s quite a good savings. How fun would it be to get a group of friends together and hop on a bus to a game? No one has to worry about the drive, and you can all enjoy a beer or two.
You can view all the routes leaving Boston here. Are you a Pats fan? How do you enjoy the season? Would you try Skedaddle?
