My Fall Style Wish List
We are officially in fall, and I couldn’t be happier. I love summer but there is something so magical about the fall. It is for sure my favorite season. In addition to enjoying long walks outside, beautiful foliage, warm drinks, and fun outdoor activities, this season is the most fun to dress for.
Over the last few months, I’ve been working through my closet and finally clearing out the items that I’m weirdly sentimental about (do you get this way about certain pieces, too? The longer you hold on to them, the harder it is to let them go!), but haven’t worn in ages. It feels really good to declutter, and actually be able to see and choose from the clothes that make me feel good. I’m trying to shop less and instead buy items that will hopefully be favorite pieces of mine for years to come, like this leather jacket I bought last year.
Here are a few things I’m currently saving for:
– there’s no denying that Stuart Weitzman boots are expensive, but they’ve been on my wish list for awhile now. My mother-in-law loved SW shoes, and so instead of buying a few less expensive pairs of shoes this season, I am saving up for boots. I’m between the tieland OTK boots and the lowland OTK boots, though. Do you have either one? Which should I get?!
– I love this classic oversized tote from Cuyana, and the sable color is so pretty. Have you been to the pop-up on Newbury Street? I have never bought anything from this brand, but have always loved how classic their bags look. The oversized tote would be great for travel, especially with all the toddler necessities you need to bring along.
– a classic wool coat can instantly elevate an outfit, and it’s something that I’ve been wanting to add to my closet for awhile now. I have a few trendier coats, but would like something that is a neutral color that could be worn with lots of different outfits. I love this one from Madewell, and may snap it up with Shopbop’s end of September sale which goes through 9/29 (20% off orders under $500 and 25% for orders over $500, with code EOTS17).
What are you hoping to add to your closet this season? xo
