What Are Your Favorite Recipes?

In an effort to save money and eat better, I’ve been cooking more at home. I have always preferred baking but in the last few years, I’ve started to really enjoy cooking savory meals. I now have a recipe box filled with my favorite dishes, and the good news is that for the most part, they are pretty difficult to mess up. That’s the beauty of cooking savory dishes: you can add a little bit of this, subtract a little bit of that, and it all works out in the end.

My friend Meg introduced me to Paprika, an awesome app that I have on my iPhone that keeps all of my recipes in one place. You can easily search on your phone or computer and add them to Paprika. From there, you can meal plan, add items to your grocery list, and more. It has really inspired me and made me feel like I’m wasting less food by knowing exactly how I am going to use each ingredient.

Here are a few recipes that have been in constant rotation in our house:

Black Bean Sweet Potato Enchilidas¬†and Deb’s Kale Salad

Crispy Broccoli with Lemon and Garlic

Curried Lentil, Tomato and Coconut Soup (loving soup so much these days)

Sheet Pan Tikka Masala

Asian Sesame Glazed Brussels Sprouts

– Homemade Pizza (we don’t really follow a recipe, but make this all the time. We buy the dough, pizza, sauce, and toppings from Whole Foods)

What are you cooking these days? I’m always looking for new recipes to try! xo
