A Spring Party at the Greenway Carousel

The weather has been truly magnificent these past few weeks, and we are welcoming spring with wide open arms. This past weekend, we hosted a spring-themed party at the Greenway Carousel to celebrate this wonderful time of year.

It was so fun to organize this event — love my co-host! :)

We invited a dozen of our friends and their kids to join us for pizza, bubbles, and unlimited carousel rides. Did you know that you can host a birthday party at the Greenway Carousel? It is such a unique and fun way to celebrate. For those of us living in small city spaces, it’s neat to find out-of-the-box venues for birthday parties.

For the day of our event, the Greenway Carousel staff (thank you, Geo!) helped us organize pizza delivery from Pizzeria Regina. For refreshments, we brought along cans of seltzer and apple juice boxes for the kids, plus cookies!

The Greenway Carousel staff sectioned off an area for us with four tables and accompanying chairs, plus a large table for food and refreshments. We told them that many of our friends would be coming with strollers, and so they ensured we had ample space. They really went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable.

Bubbles were a big hit! We also brought along some coloring pages and crayons for kids to draw in between carousel rides.

We caught up with friends we hadn’t seen in awhile…

…and enjoyed goofing off in the area surrounding the carousel. And of course we rode the carousel dozens of times. It was overcast in the morning but as the day went on, the sun came out and it was gorgeous.

If you’re ever wondering where to host a party, we can’t recommend the Greenway Carousel enough. It’s also a great spot to stop by on any given day for a ride!

The downtown location is so fun and we recommend pairing a visit to the Greenway Carousel with a stop at the Boston Public Market or the aquarium.

Thank you so much to the Greenway Carousel for having us!
